Like others I was effected with change/cancelled travel when the Army restricted travel. I called Delta and was told since I was traveling in 36 hours I needed to do the cancel online but there would be no charges. I completed the action on line to see a $186 fee charged. I called Delta back and was told the no fee would have been a change in ticket not a cancelation. NOT what I was told, nor what I expected from Delta. Hard to read fine print in a voice conversation but I am sure it was in there somewhere. Not what I expected from "My Delta".

To Delta Customer Service: As a loyal Delta Skymiles Member of many decades and a card-carrying Delta Gold customer, I was very disappointed when, upon learning on 18 March that since the US and Canadian chiefs of state had agreed to bar any non-emergency travelers from crossing their borders, I would not be able to disembark from my TPA flight to YWG on 23 March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. I was beyond disappointed when, upon cancelling my flight, you refunded less than half of the cost of my flight to my Delta card. Since then, you have lifted the cancellation fee, per your emails effective 3 and now 14 April, but you didn't lift/refund mine. Delta is my favorite airline. I have traveled to 100 countries and all continents--45 min. hops to 26 hour flights. Delta ticket agents, gate agents and flight crew the absolute best. So I was very surprised and presume that you were overwhelmed. The reason I canceled, vice postponed, is that I didn't know when the pandemic would allow for travel again (and it was a time-sensitive, complicated trip). I already have two tickets on my Delta card with vouchers from you, which much be used by 25 July 2020 when YOU canceled my flights for 5 Sep 2019 (SRQ-ORF r/t) due to Hurricane Dorian at the Norfolk Airport.

So I was already worried about losing $564 in vouchers with COVID-19's impact likely continuing. Your 3 and 14 April emails imply that you would have refunded my ORF trip and allowed for 2 years for vouchers for the 23 March 2020 trip, which I didn't know on 18 March. Please come up with some better solution, as I would like you to understand that I prefer remaining a loyal Delta customer to leaving you. Sincerely, K.P. Rahal

Have been on the phone since 12 noon CST trying to change a ticket to Thailand as the information we received was faulty. On hold for almost 7 hours then got hung up on. Now wait time is 12 hours this is nuts and totally ridiculous. This is how you do business, take the money but not help when there is a problem unable to change on internet no help there. Called connecting Korean airlines to make change and they can't because it was made through delta. There needs to be some way to contact a person if you online does not work.

Good evening Customer Services Supervisor,

My name is David Forsythe, Address is, 1016 Oak Bark Lane; Harker Heights, Texas. I have several calls to Delta regarding this issue with limited results.

On February 14, 2020, I requested a reservation to travel to Augusta, Ga on April 23, 2020, with departure from Austin, Texas (Bergstrom Field) to Augusta, GA. Flight departure late morning 10 ish and arrival in Augusta, Bush field and, return on April 25, 2020. and return to Austin, TX. My American Express Delta Sky miles was charged $191.20, plus 51,000 Sky miles, and never received an e-ticket or travel itinerary. On April 12, I received credit for 11.20 cash credit back to my American Sky mile account. I was told by the servicing agent that my flight was canceled due to Covid-19 and I should receive the credit within 21 days. Today is May 23, 2020, and I am still trying to receive the 180.00 credit back to mt American Express Sky Mile Card.

I have called the Delta Customer Service numerous times for assistance with this issue however, either told to call back, or I would receive a call within 3hours; this never occurred. My phone number is: 706-825-0184, Cell and the home number is, 254-698-2674. Please help me to recover this 180.00, refund or some considerations to off-set this charge. Thank you,

Regards,
David Forsythe
