How do I reset my Canvio Portable Hard Drive to do backup storage for my Mac using Timemachine?

I need instructions for setting up and using my new Portable Hard Drive. When I have asked before I get pages of code. Please help.

Can I use this on 2 different computers by hooking it up separately and manually downloading, much like I do with a thumb drive? They are both running Windows 10. Mine is a laptop, hers is a desktop.

Rudest CSR I have ever encountered. All she wanted to do was interrupt and tell me what she wasn't going to do to help me. Fobbed me off to Best Buy whom I had already zero response from after several attempts. STAY AWAY from BEST BUY and TOSHIBA, they are not interested in their Customers IMO.
