Unbelievable customer "service"
I called when I didn't receive the items I had ordered when they were supposed to be here (within reason). The guy I spoke to insisted they would resend the items. The first order was delivered after I got off the phone, so I called back to cancel the second order that was about 15 minutes old. I was told (by a second guy that could barely speak English) don't worry about it, that you never pay for replacement items...if you don't want them, donate them, give them away, throw them away...whatever. I told him the order couldn't be an more than 15 minutes old. He said they're already on their way. I asked him to let me speak to a supervisor.
He told me to hold on, that it would take a couple of minutes...39 minutes later I had my supervisor on the phone. She told me to bring them back to a Target store near me. After I hung up from talking to her, I got an email that told me to donate them or do whatever I want, but don't return them..."it's not necessary". I called again to be sure I could donate them to Toys for Tots or some such organization. This time I was told I should bring them back. Does the right hand have ANY IDEA what the left hand is doing???
Target customer service
I received damaged goods. I let Target know and sent pictures. They sent me a link to print out a return label. Many times I tried to print this label out on different devices it kept coming back will not print due to technical problems - try again or contact us. I called many times been on hold forever, sent letters to corporate. No response!
Staff insufficiently trained
I called target to enquire about the availability of a product. Before the lady could even comprehend what product I was talking about her immediate reaction was to say “we don’t have that”. She didn’t even know exactly what that is! I eventually convinced her to transfer me to the electronics department who contradicted her knowledge. The amount of lazy people is unacceptable!
At least say you don’t know then bullshit and lose a customer! Good thing I took initiative to find it myself!!! Don’t hire people who are not about helping a customer!!!!
