I am very angry over not being able to access my acct. online; twice I have complained of this-was sent 1time to reset my password-now it says that is not valid & also my SS# is not valid(it IS) I have also issues with billing; I paid my policy premium for the year, sent in not once but twice, NOW today I get yet another letter, saying my insurance has lapsed due to not paying by the grace period-this is a LIE.

TransAm. sent me an e-mail saying notices were mailed out "late-sorry for the inconvenience". Well, I was not late to begin with! I also have not received a receipt for this payment, & have requested one; I DID pay with MC the 2nd time-I assume I will have to wait to receive my credit card bills, to see if billing credited my pmnt. I'm sick & tired of the run around online to access my account, & after 7 years having this coverage, I have never been late with payment. They better get it together in billing and READ!!!!

I have unsuccessfully tried to view my policy online several times. I did once, but have not been able to several times after. I used the same information previously asked for, but have been rejected. The message reads invalid information. How do I view my policy information.

My SSN nor my e-mail address. nor physical address have changed.

I called my agent and asked for a hard copy of my policy contract and was assured to get one but it had been months and I have still to see it. I called and a rep told me she is going to make a note and I should get a call for it but it's been weeks and still NOTHING! Is this how this so called prestigious company treats its policy holders? What a shame. I need my copy of the contract policy!!!

On March 11, 2020 at 10:05 AM, I contacted Transamerica customer service to give notice Elaine Scott W. Scott passed on February 26, 2020. I'm the insured father and I will be responsible for the policy. I was told that I would received the necessary documents to transfer the policy in my name. as of this date, I have not received anything from Transamerica Insurance.

I have a UNIVERSAL LIFE INSURANCE POLICY with Transamerica. I borrowed against my policy about 2 years ago. This was a big mistake!!! You are told you do not have to make any payments as it will be taken out of your policy when you die. What they fail to tell you but is in the fine print is that the interest is charged on the principal balance one year in advance. For example, if you borrow 10,000.00 at 8% interest today, then tomorrow, you now have a 10,800.00 loan balance. ( 800.00 in interest) They do not charge the interest on the principal monthly like most loans, they charge interest only once each year in advance on the total balance of principal and interest combined! They do not separate the principal from the interest, so when you make a payment, it is applied to the total loan balance, the principal plus advanced interest. So you are paying interest on the interest. I only thought this was done by loan sharks. Who knew?

Sir iI have notified the Army Finance center to stop the deduction of the payment last month and they told me it would stop in October. If it continues to be taken out in October again will contact them again as to why it wasn't stopped. Thank You.
