I am glad to see that JCP's stock is at $1.75, down 44% this year alone. I wrote the company sever times stating that you have NO customer service in your stores. Scanner's don't work. Rude employees. My wife still like to shop JCP's but only for clearance and sales. I would never shop your store again and I am guessing that many others feel the same way I do. All you had to do is give good customer service like the old days. Customers come first. Now its the bottom line that comes first and we, the consumer, suffer. In this case, you suffered!

Well I see JCP's will be the next store closing - I was at the store today getting a pair of boots - No longer assistance in the shoe department you are on your own - when I asked an associate a questions she responded did you look!! and when I responded yes I opened and pulled out each box - than she said oh well and I hope its not a mess over there !!! So I looked for another associate - saw me coming and ducked behind clothes, third person sent me to the children area for an adult boot, and they lady in children's area said are you kidding me. And I said no.... I will no longer shop at this store I have been doing a lot of on line shopping and I will continue to but not on the JCP's website. What a shame that in this day in age we can not get good customer service when its face to face encounter. I truly do not expect a response most stores only put good reviews on line. So long JCP......:( :( :( Disappointed shopper.

Hello,

My husband purchased a ring from JCP for me and the ring needed to be sized down. The sales associate had me try on a ring sizer and advised that I was a size 6. When I returned to pick up the ring this past Friday the ring was slightly too big. The problem is that the ring keeps moving around and feels very uncomfortable. When I asked the associate to please take it down a half size I was advised that I would have to pay and additional $40 fees. I have already paid one $40 fee. Way too much to pay for a ring to be downsized that we purchased from you.

I have been a very happy customer of yours for a very long time. My husband just became a cardholder as well. I am asking for assistance in helping to have my ring downsized without any additional fees.

I have been a JC Penny customer for 50 years. If you want to know why your brand is failing, here are some reasons. Your stores are understaffed and service is horrible. Your merchandise is laying all over the floor from lack of cleanup (related to above). You have totally abandoned the older generation as customers and your big and tall departments are totally inadequate. You appear to be geared to the younger generation which spend far less money at the JC Penny retail level in favor of lower cost stores.

Your jewelry departments used to have high quality items and now are less quality at the same higher prices. In short, your marketing group has lost touch with what consumers are looking for and frankly you never ask the real customer what they want to purchase. My wife and I have virtually given up on the brand because of the shopping experience, dirty and messy stores and lack of merchandise in our age group.

At 11:15am today, November 8, 2019, I went to J C Penny's to pay a bill. I asked the saleswoman, if I could pay the bill at her station which was the jewelry counter. No one was there other than herself. She told me to go to the middle isle and pay the bill at that register. She said it just opened.

When I got to the center register, there was no one there. I had to wait, 5-10 minutes for someone to come. I have been a customer of Penny's for over 50 years and was never refused to make a payment at the jewelry counter. She was just lazy and didn't want to be bothered by me. I will gladly give her name if you need it.

I think Penny's management needs to go over the rules with her on how to treat customers and remind her that without customers she would not have a job in Penny's. She is in the retail business and customers are coming in and out all day long and they are expecting service when they need it. Perhaps she needs to rethink on whether or not if she is in the right business.

I avoid shopping at JCPenney because I get blasted with "music" (noise) as I walk in the door, and it certainly is not the kind that makes a person want to browse and shop. If I do go to JCP, it is for one thing, I buy it, and get out of there. On numerous occasions I have contacted store management to complain. They are usually in agreement with my complaint, yet the obnoxious "music" continues to be played, and at an annoyingly loud volume. I doubt that you will take this complaint seriously. I will continue to avoid shopping your store until the shopping experience is more pleasant.

On Dec 26th I ordered a pr of mens shoes and a couple days later I called to cancel but was refused. I was told it was too late. The shipment arrived yesterday and I refused them. Reason being I found a new pr in my closet that were almost identical so I do not need them. As a long time good customer I would think you would accomodate me in this regard. Please credit my acct when you get them back.

Placed an order near the black Friday deadline. Order (5) different items and did not receive all the items. When I looked my order up online, some of the items said cancelled? I did not cancel these. These items I purchased were very inexpensive and it was a good deal if I would have gotten them. No one from JCPenney contacted me by email, phone or text message. Had I not looked this up for myself, I would still be waiting for them. Customer service was useless and not a help at all.

How can you purchase items on sale and not get them? isn't this a type of false advertising? at least contact me or ask if they could substitute or something in the range of satisfying the customer. I guess it was a good thing these weren't for a gift.

I recently purchased HOME bath towels and washcloths in Blue Aster (color). I love the quality of the products and, particularly, the wonderful color. It adds so much to my bathroom. I would love to have bath mats to match but are unable to find them in the same color. Can you help?

I have been trying to get my rewards to show up when I pull up my account but it is a vicious cycle. I pull up the website and they say to put my email in and they will send me a link. I get the e-mail and it is the same e-mail that I just received. Put in information and they will send me a link. Poor service.

I orrdered 2 gift cards from what I thought from your website to be delivered to my email for printing on 5/6/2020. Saturday 5/9/2020 I still did not receive email for printing. Come to find out a JC Penney gift card comes from Cash Star which does not live up to what I thought were JC Penney standards. After calling JC Penney and waiting over 45 minutes and finally being transferred to a supervisor. I was told that I had to call Cash Star. Another 15 minutes waiting for a representative, I was told it was emailed to me on 5/6 and was rejected by my email. If I ordered by my email it should have come through. I had to give him another email account to send it to. It finally went through to my daughter's in time for Mother's Day. Upon reading other recounts of dealings with Cash Star I was appalled that JC Penney uses them and now will reconsider shopping at JC Penney in the future. I also was told by Cash Star that it was not refundable nor mailable to me, which was ridiculous. JC Penney should reconsider using them.

Ordered item on May 4,2020. Order was not even filled until Mat 13th 2020 and shipper from Ohio to Michigan by UPS with projected delivery date of AROUND May 19th. This is the WORST service I have received from any company in the USA and several countries. I understand why JC Penney is going bankrupt and I will NEVER order anything from them again. Can not even contact their CUSTOMER SERVICE as phone rings once and disconnects and web page for customer service will not come up. Best way to stop compliants. Solong JCP.

I ordered two bras. One came marked the same size and brand as the one I'm wearing. It was huge. The second one never came and no info on it at all. Ordered two blouses. One came, beautiful, fit nicely but so sheer I might as well not have been wearing anything. There was no info about content on the ad. The second one never came and no info. When JCP once again cares about quality of service and not just jamming ads down the throat of your customers and makes it easy just to contact customer service without spending hours getting through repetitious info, I would love to once again be a loyal customer.

I placed a order for a woman's ring April 19,2020 and as of today June 17th I have not received the order or any information about the order. One place said it is in process and another said it was shipped. I cannot get anyone to answer the phones at any number I have called,but you are expecting me to pay the bill when you send me one. I have shopped J.C. Penny's for many years and I realize this virus has caused problems but surely you have someone that can answer the phones or at least return the messages to help customers.

I purchased a 14k gold chain from JcPenney. The chain was suppose to be solid 14k gold. The sales rep also stated it was. The chain is turning black, I took the chain back and showed them and they will do nothing about it. I would advise no one to ever buy Jewelry from there. They are liars and sold me junk for 220.00.

Please help. I ordered two sets of mattresses a couple weeks ago. Last Friday evening I received a call telling me that I would receive a call on Monday with my two hour delivery window. I waited around all day and once I got home I got a call that they would be delivering the next day between 5 and 7 pm. I was at work that day and at 2:30 I was called and told they were 30 minutes away and was anyone home. I am single and live alone and work about 45 minutes from home. I said it would take me about an hour and half as I needed to wrap up work. They said they needed to call their boss and she told me if I wasn't home in 30 they would reschedule. I told her to cancel the order. On Wednesday I got a call and they asked if they could deliver the next day and I told them if only delivered after 5 pm. They said they would try. They called the next day and said they would be there between 10 am and noon. I left work around 9:20 and got home and waited till after noon. I called the number they had used and they said they were about an hour away. I said I would not be home and they would have to come back after 5 like I asked. They said they can't do that. They asked if they could just leave them and I said no because you also have to pick up the old ones. They said you can put them outside and we can leave the new ones. I di das asked and go home and all the new mattresses were in torn bags sitting in my yard and my cold mattresses were there as well. I had all my stuff in storage for over two months and I am not sure what got on my mattresses but that was the reason I was buying new ones. I smelled like cat. Another story.

They refused to take them citing corona. I understand that but they could have wrapped them in the old plastic had they done the job that I had ordered and pay for. I have never been through something this bad. I had to carry my mattresses up the steps into my house y myself. I just moved and I am sore from just my stuff. I ahem on hold with your company for over 50 minutes more than twice this week. I have been hg up on and sent to dead numbers, etc. The list goes on. and on. I want some satisfaction and will not go away till this is handled. What do you plan on doing?

This will be the last time I order from JCP.I placed an order on Aug 19th. I did not get an email saying that my order was being processed or shipped. I called the customer servIce phone number. IA very rude man answered. I couldn’t understand him and he kept asking for my order number which I told him several times that i didn’t have. I was told that I didn’t have an account even though I know that I did. I was even given a link to reset my password. Finally, the rude man hung up on me abruptly without warning.

I sent an email before making a call to customer service. I never got a response. I know my order had to be placed, because on September first they debited my bank for the amount of my purchase.i will not be calling again. I will call my bank on Tuesday and they will give me back my money. If the merchandise comes I will refuse shipment.

Again I will never shop at their online store again.

I was late on my September payment by 2 day which I paid on line the 8th now they want me to pay $27.00 in October for late payment. This is ridiculous with the covid and no one getting there unemployment. Now I can see why most store are closing, Give people a break. I could see if we are months late but 2 day. I will not be shopping there ever again even if they do close the store.

On September 19, 2020 I ordered five items from JC Penney. I only received four of the items. When I called to find out why they wanted to give me a credit for the item I did not receive. I wanted them to send me the item I did not want a credit. I was told I could reorder the item but they would have to charge me for the item. Since I did not want to be charged a second time I told them to forget reordering. Now I am out the money for this item. This is my first time ordering through JC Penney. It will be my last. I will stick with Amazon.
