Hi, I have a reminder about my Kenmore Elite cook I talked to Kenmore USA and told me that they can not do anything for me they gave me your name in reference so that I could have my replacement part it is a cooker Kenmore Elite model C970688331 series NF53527676. Normally I would have done business with Sears but there is no longer I would like to have my replacement part and I will organize myself to install it myself. Thank you for helping me. I do not speak english please contact me by email at isabellemorency @bell.net thanks. my experience with kenmore is not great because i am told that nothing can be done for me because i am in canada.

We purchased new Elite Frig and range. Doors on frig removed and reinstalled at delivery 7/24/19 but don't seal properly. Called customer service, 844-553-6667 no help. Told to call delivery at 800-732-7744. I made two appointments with them to come out and realign doors. no call no show on both. Called back today and they cant come out until 8/14 now. FRIG SITTING IN KITHEN with no food in it. Last operator Mac, 801826 cut me off when I asked for a supervisor. Getting PO'ed by whole thing.

We purchased a Kenmore Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Model 111.7302*711 on May 16,2018 at the Sears store in Atlantic, Iowa. The upper unit quit cooler 3 weeks ago. We called a repair tech. and he checked it all and said he would check back with us on when he could the repairs it needed. Later that day he called and said the model was no longer manufactured and he was unable to get the needed parts. The warranty was only good for one year. Is there anything we can do except to buy a new one?

Dryer fire 9/9/20

First of all, I am very disappointed as I have tried to call Kenmore customer service many times in the past week no matter what time of day, the phone number says “we’re closed” :(

Fire started inside in our Kenmore 91383 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer on 9.9.2020. I had load of dried clothes inside of the dryer and put it on a 10 minute wrinkle release cycle to grab a shirt out of the dryer to wear. When the cycle was complete; I grabbed the t-shirt out of the dryer and shut the door. The dryer was off at this point.

About 1 hour later, there was a subtle burning smell in the house. But I determined it was inconclusive, as nothing was powered on/ the stove was off/ and also, I live in California where there are currently fires burning. I decided it was the smell of the fires in California and left the house/ as I couldn't locate where the smell was coming from.

Approx. 30 minutes later, my husband arrived home from a work interview. He also detected a subtle burning smell but also had the same conclusion as I, because again, nothing was turned on in our house. I returned home 30 minutes after he had already been home and the smell I had detected before (2 hours previously) was no longer faint but more recognizable and I didn't believe it was from nearby fires. I inspected the house and then came over to our laundry area where the smell was a bit stronger. I opened the dryer (which had not been running for hours) and I opened the door to find a fire inside of the dryer. Smoke came billowing out of the dryer with visual flames. Our smoke detector then went off. My husband called 9-1-1 as I began the process of trying to extinguish the flames as well as trying to get the clothes out of the dryer and onto our lawn.

The firefighters arrived <5 minutes post the realization of the fire. And by then, I had been able to extinguish the fire. We lost not only a $1000 Kenmore dryer that was <2 years old but also ~ $500-700 worth of our clothes. Luckily, no one was injured and our house is still standing. But the reason for this fire occurring remains a mystery. Lives could have been lost and we are very grateful that this was not the case.

Now we’re stuck with the Kenmore washer without a stackable Kenmore dryer. In no way to get a hold of customer service.
