Getting orders outside my assigned zone
Each morning I choose a Zone, however, I am getting orders during the day that are far outside my chosen Zone. I unassign these orders because it is expensive for me to go outside my zone, as I have sometimes gone a head to take the order and then find myself very far from my chosen Zone. With the high cost of gas and wear and tear on my auto, it doesn't pay to take these orders, especially when my zone is lit up in red. It doesn't make sense. My acceptance rating goes down, especially when I'm uassigning several of these orders.
This problem has tripled since I first signed on with Doordash. If the other zones are needing Dashers, then I suggest Doordash review their pay structure. If this isn't corrected and my rating continues to go down because I refuse to take orders that are many many miles outside my chosen zone, then I will be forced to go back to delivering for Uber Eats.
Late delivery was COLD!!
Tonight, July 25,2019, we ordered hamburgers from Five Guys. We have ordered from them using DoorDash several times and have always been happy and even amazed that the order came hot like we were right in he store! However tonight was a different story. We ordered our usual burgers and fries and delivery was scheduled for 7:45...In the past orders are normally a bit early...But tonight when the tracker showed the dasher (Erin)..movement was very erratic.
I tried to reach her to see where she was but got no response. When she finally arrived, she was 10 minutes after scheduled deliver and our order was ice cold....My husband refused to eat it...When he told Erin he hoped order was hot and she just shoved the bag at him and walked away....Not a very friendly person to be doing this job. We would like to be reimbursed for this meal since even trying to warm it left it less than satisfactory. We would appreciate hearing from you regarding this unfortunate incident.

I've tried reaching out to Doordash to find out concerning my application to start driving as a dasher. This was five days ago. I haven't heard from Doordash yet! If you could assist me in this issue, I really would appreciate it.

DoorDash is horrible
DoorDash is horrible when it comes to being able to call them when need help or assistance of any kind. I delivered an order where the coustoner was mad that his order was late getting to him because doordash sent me 4 different orders at 4 different times. So the man then throw the food at my car and killed close my car. I called the police to make and report but of course we as the delivery driver don’t have the customer full name so the police wanted me to call door dash so that they could get his full name and phone number but you can’t get in touch with anyone. When you call the number it just tell you to use the app.
