Nov 2017, I applied for a home loan, approved for 60,000 and assigned a Realtor: Patty Wallace - Harvest Hills Realty. Ms. Wallace showed me two brand new homes ready for purchase. Then suddenly, I received a letter from Quicken Loans stating that I was no longer eligible for the loan. I didn't question the decision, I thought that was the end of the matter and decided to focus on finding an apartment considering I had submitted my notice to vacate and would soon be homeless. But the Realtor continued to contact me. I explained that the loan was denied and I could no longer afford a home purchase. The Realtor stated, "I have a home for you!" I now know that Quicken Loan did not deny the loan and this was just a ploy by the Realtor to sell this old, dilapidated house.
The Realtor led me to believe that the home loan was denied and that I could not qualify for the new home loan that I wanted; therefore, I could only afford this old 1948 house. I have had nothing but problems since I moved into the house in Feb 2018; but, November has been the worse. I had not been in the house a year and the stove had to be replaced. The Heating Unit went out the same month and that needs to be replaced. The heart of Winter and I have no Heat! The pipes are so old, hard water has clogged my washing machine. Also in November, there was a leak underneath the kitchen sink that was so bad, it actually leaked out into the holes in the kitchen floor tile and underneath the kitchen floor cabinets. Now, all of the kitchen cabinets have rotted.
I have Epilepsy, Disabled Veteran on a fixed income. After being told I was approved for a home loan, I submitted my notice to vacate my apartment and showed new homes; then suddenly I was told the loan was denied and showed the 1948 house. I feel Ms. Wallace USED ME! I feel Ms. Wallace is a CROOK! I am paying 246.49 monthly principle, over 100.00 a month in escrow for 43.00 monthly insurance and 3.50 in taxes.
This house should have never been sold. It is infested with lizards, drain flies and rain floods the yard completely. I was taken advantage of because of my disability.
Is Quicken associated with these lenders? I have had three Mortgage Owners in less than a year: InterLinc - Dovenmuehle - RoundPoint.
Will someone contact me about this matter? I can't believe I have been treated like this.
