When I Googled Roku support helpline I dialed the phone number that was given and it rang and rang and rang was nobody answering. Then my phone rang from an unavailable phone number and a man said that he was with Roku support. I needed help changing my email address because I no longer had access to that email and I had just purchased a new television and Roku stick and wanted to set it up. The man on the phone said that I would have to pay 99 99 or my TV would stop working and I would no longer have Roku service.
As I was on the phone with him I was scrolling through the Google search list cast for Roku, I was also at the system info screen on my Roku television I Googled TCL USA Roku and a legitimate telephone number came up for contact us. I'm very thankful that I didn't give any personal information to the man that said that he was support for Roku. The lady named Bon was very helpful and pleasant and reassured me that everything was okay and my information was safe as long as I didn't give my passwords, which I didn't, because I hung up on him quick. Thank God to my diligence and the helpful real support team at roku.com. the proper telephone number to call is 1816 272-8106. Any other phone number is bogus.
