I booked 8:30pm, rode Uber (additional $14.15 wasted), and arrived 10:00pm. Waited fifteen minutes for an employee. He stated no availability hours before arrival, because Lakewood, Ohio Travelodge and Days Inn are impromptu homeless shelters due Covid19 and, "I can't do anything and it's not my problem." Immediately called Priceline Customer Service. Priceline had to confirm overbooking, yet unable to contact an employee at the hotel for three weeks. Priceline claimed need verify only Travelodge was filled at arrival. Policy is anything Covid19 related is refundable.

Priceline emailed yesterday, "We reviewed the information with the hotel and verified with Shannon / Manager that they tagged you as a No Show. Please note that our ability to offer any type of refund is entirely at your confirmed hotel's discretion. We are sorry, but your reservation remains non-refundable." Further proving Travelodge's customer service failure. A new variable weeks later and refusal refund for sale of non-existent consumer service/product. Priceline should remove this hotel location, and at minimum customers should know of the environment. Now still battling for the $68.
