In March 2017, I purchased a Maytag Bravos XL washing machine and dryer from Home Depot. Two weeks ago, the washing machine stopped working and has failed to be repaired. The washing machine has displayed the following error codes: F6, E2 and E3. A Flamingo service technician finally visited our home on Tuesday, March 13th after the service request was called in 10 days prior (the first service date was cancelled due to the technician's illness). During the service visit, we were advised that a part would need to be ordered and installed due to steam entering the dashboard and terminating the washing cycles. The technician advised my husband that the washing machine may work as normal while we waited on the part to be installed in a week. Needless to say, the machine has remained completely broken and has failed to work as manufactured and according to the warranty. My family of four which includes a high school baseball player and cheerleader must wash clothes often. The fact that the machine has failed to operate is a huge inconvenience and disappointment. Additionally, the fact that only one service technician is able to service my area (30331) and we have waited an abnormal length of time for a remedy is highly unacceptable. We have made no less than two trips and will be making a third trip tomorrow to a local laundry center to clean our clothes.
We are respectfully asking for a full refund for the washing machine or at a minimum a new machine. This is my first Maytag purchase and I can assure you this will be my last Maytag purchase if this matter is not rectified.
