Citibank sent a security alert to my email above and asked me to click a LINK to view the text. I am concerned about the safety of that unexpected email and the link inside. I login to my account (which was very slow) and cannot find anywhere to view messages from my account on the web. I called the citi bank phone number for debit card, waited for 40 minutes. I called the number on the email (1800 374 9700) after checking of its likely reliability, and has been waiting.... What's the problem for my account ? Please contact me.

In this difficult time, our computer's and phone's safety are very important. I do not want them be hacked by anything that appear like coming from CitiBank.

I was called by that #phone number to tell me my account was used in Indonesia for $1498.00 and wanted to know if I had approved such transaction. I pressed #1 on my phone and gave a completely fictitious name and they told me same thing my account had been hacked for $1498.00. Obvious scam.
