Reserved a Queen, for night of the fourth May, paid thru Orbitz, getting a discount. Arrived at Motel 6 extended stay off wendover ave., Greensboro, N.C.. Was given Room 303, third floor. Room key would not work. I had to up and down three flights steps, (3) times to try to get a working key. The third time the Manager went up with me only to also find out that her whole bax of key cards would not program. So I had to go without a key all night. Asking front desk to let me into the room each time. Upon getting into the room, I found that it was not a Queen bed, but a full. The Manager tried convincing me it was a full. I took pictures, of the bed tag, saying full bed. Was told it surely was a Queen.. (it was not), a bed that was too small.
Front desk informed me they didn't have another room to move me to, an untrue. You kept the first and second floor rooms for wour walk in Guest, paying rack rate, while giving Orbitz customers less of a room than booked, and charged for. I want my money back for 05?04?2019. Dissatisfied with stay at hotel 6 goodlettsville, tn
Booked with Travilosity and would not give senior discount. Supposed to be non-smoking room, took four rooms to find one that didn't smell bad. Did two loads of wash, tried to dry one load but drier stayed on medium heat even after selecting high heat setting. At $2.50 my cloths would not dry for the time programed. Took my two loads of wash to another laundry mat in town and did two dryer loads for only $1 each and they were done in 20 minutes. Why is there a $25 tax#####.
Overpriced room
I recently stayed (6/5/19)w my toy poodle at your Motel 6 in Moab UT. It was only 1 of 2 motels that were pet friendly..The room was clean w nice wood floors..but NO Refrigerator or small microwave to be found ! Havent been in a motel in 7 + years that didnt offer a small refrig or microwave. On top of that couldn't get the soda machine to accept my quarters..on 2 floors. Another on main floor was Out of Order.
Thirdly, no breakfast whatsoever...just coffee or tea to drink. NOT EVEN A MUFFIN OR DONUT. All this for a whopping $130.00 overnight !! WTH..seriously? Will never stay w Motel 6 again.
The next night I spent at a Hilton in Kayenta AZ. Incredible room w cabinet refrigerator, storage and very nice TV w expanded channels.. not to mention digital a/c/ heat controls, soft lighting beautiful bathroom and a FULL BREAKFAST W veggie quiche, toast, fruit, waffles, drink...and ALL that for the same price of $130 !!! Along w a gift shop and lobby w fireplace. Inviting staff.
I am still appalled at your rip off Motel in UT. I will tell plenty I know who live in AZ to never stay w Motel 6 in Moab especially.

I am responding back from a experience I had and am still going through with my family here at motel 6 . We checked in to here on the fourth of july to stay and have a good holiday week with my family and we were told that the swimming pool would be open the next day of our check in. so we decided to stay and already had a problem with the room itself but moved to another room. but that same room air conditioning ain't working well and the microwave wasn't working well and sounds unsafe. and the restroom sink keeps clogging and most of the workers here aren't polite. so the next day we were in the city and on our way back to our room we seen someone in the pool so we decided to take the family for a swim and got ready. but right before we got into the pool we were all told it was closed. and from then on the pool has not been open and the whole experience here was very uncomfortable and unwelcome. and we have endured it for almost a full week of our stay here. All I wanted was for my wife and kids to have the best experience everywhere we go. We are here just for a short period until my wife and I patiently are waiting for an appropriate housing while working and applying for college. I sure appreciate your time and concern to hear our experience. I just wished our time here with my family was more enjoyable and comfortable.

Disgusting hotel
I got a reservation online, put my credit card in. When we got there the manager said i had to put my card in again. We went to the room, not only was the whole out side filthy, it smelled like marijuana was being smoked everywhere. When we went in to the room, there was, what appeared to be vomit on the side of the bed. I told my girlfriend that im not happy with this room. I started calling different hotels to find better accommodations. When i went back to the office, no more than 30 minutes, i explained the situation, the manager said i was more an hour in the room i can't get a refund. After a few words, she gave me only half of my money back.I would like the rest of what i payed for. It was in Crafton PA Mon 8:24 PM.
Stay at Lantana, Fl
My husband and I stayed at Motel 6 Lantana, Fl. We had an awful experience. The room was dirty when we asked for it to be cleaned the man was insulting as if it was our fault the house keeper didn't know how to clean a toilet. when we asked for another room he said No. So of course we couldn't stay in such filth. we were willing to pay for the 2 nights we stayed but felt we should get a refund for the 3rd night.of course he said No.

6301 IH 37 in Corpus Christi,Tx has the worst General Manager she is so rude to the point of just nasty. The washer and driers have never worked properly. The GM really told me she would have maintenance show me how to use them. Really I'm 36 yrs. old I have been washing clothes since I was 6 and could reach the buttons. The elevator doesn't work half the time. I had bed bugs I HAD TO KILL. There are roaches everywhere again I have to spend money to spray. My microwave has been broken for THREE months now but they wont fix or replace it, the burners on the stove work when they want too. The parking lot floods every time it rains, our cars constantly get hit. This place is gross and the General Manager April is for lack of better words a real BITCH!!!!

Don't understand why we get the run?
Around when you're trying to get a hold of the right department for refunds the customer service Representatives need to be elected more courteous and not so rude and pushing me back and forth to number one or number two. I had to go through five representatives and still didn't get my question completely clear and I would not recommend you to anyone if I have to score you I would give a one Star and that is just too good for you anyways.
Roach infested
I checked Into a Motel 6 in the Fort Bragg area on Bragg Blvd ,Fayetteville NC and it was roach infested. The first room was dirty so the had to switch me into a better one. We get to that room and by 7:00 pm roaches started to show up, walking across the wall and in the bathroom. The same night I call down and ask to get another room, I even ask the reception was this hotel roach infested? She stated no, but offer to moved me into a different room, but I was told I couldn't move until after 11am, the following day. The next day it took them until 4oclock that afternoon to replace me into another room. The next night I went to A family member house and didn't return until Thursday the following day, and what do you know roaches. Not only that, you weren't able to bring food in the room to eat they come out everywhere then. I killed ten in one night and got pictures for proof.
This has been the worst experience. 350 a week on what a roach hotel. They slept better then me and I made sure to leave the lights on because if you turn them off you may be sleeping with a bed full of roaches. But last but not least there was no WiFi for a whole week. Now I am not able to complete my work because my laptop plays a big role for my job duties and they where not meet on time. I had to use the nearest public library. A big headache that is what Motel 6 was A Big Headache.
A $50 security
I stayed at the Motel 6 on various occasions and never had to put down an extra $ 50 Dollar security deposit at the Green Bay, Wisconsin location, because of past guests damaging rooms or littering the room Etc. Now... I stay with you a lot and never had to pay a security deposit. Is this the right way to keep your customers.
I want refund
I usually choose motel 6 to stay whatever I go and on 5/26/2020 wasn't different and after a long day driving the only thing I wanted was a good night rest, hot bath a good sleep..but it wasn't like that. First thing I found was roaches 3 of them roaming around, the sink got clog as soon I washed my hands, the bath tub clogged during the time I was bathing and no remote control to turn the TV on. Obviously management is not in the same concept of CLEAN... if you need proof I will to send you photo of it.... thanks for you attention to this matter... have a great day.
Rental rejection
I recently rented a room at Motel 6 on Dyer and the 55 freeway. From what I know I didnt do anything wrong or break any motel 6 rules that im aware of. A few weeks after that I returned to motel 6 to rent again and was told that I can no longer rent at motel 6 and was not given a reason.. I honestly think that im being singled out for what ever reason... I rent at Motel 6 ALOT prior to being rejected and bring this place good business. Its a shame that this location will rent to a grip of tweekers and hypes and not to good people.
Complaint
Me and my girlfriend reserved a room for Aug 2 with motel 6 in Asheboro nc and to start with when we checked in we were placed in a room with no ac then was moved to one with no remote or towels or wash cloths. They then only gave us one of each. We were then laying in bed watching TV when it went out also. Then as we were waiting for it to come back on my girlfriend found a bed bugs crawling on the sheets.

Checking in to the Motel 6 in Gatlinburg, TN. When we booked with Booking.com, we were booked for a two stay at $189.00 for the two day stay. First they could not find my reservations, after a few min out of thin air they found our reservations, I was informed that, I had been booked for one day stay at $130.00, they then ask how I wanted to pay for the second day, of course they had me, supplied them with a credit card and another $130.00. This has to be the worst Motel 6, I have ever encountered. Waking the next day my wife found a Roach crawling on our food. The morning we left I spotted another in the bath room. In the evening you could smell urine, in the room and it wasn't that of a dog. The ice out of the ice machine had what appeared to be animal hair in it. The pool and the area was the only welcome sight about the place.

I am emailing you in regards to my deposit. i rented a room from you guys on December 31st 2020 .. in which was a separate transaction made for a deposit of $50 and I have yet to receive my $50 back.. I was wondering what you guys are doing on your end to make sure that my deposit is returned back onto my card ASAP it has been 20 days and I have not gotten any of my money back.. thank you for taking your time out to read if I do not get a response I'll be going to a hiring manager to see what's going on with my funds.
Pueblo disappointment
I am a customer who usually finds Motel 6 a wonderful place to go. My boyfriend and I have stayed at a Motel 6 two times in the past few months in Pueblo and I find myself very disappointed. Not only when we requested a room the first time did we not receive the room that was paid for but it was nonsmoking and it smelled like cigarettes. I am pregnant, so this for me was very upsetting. Not only that but the shower has mold building and the cabinets in our room were all broken. We also had a heater that could not be shut off because it was broken. This happens, but we say we will give them a chance and stay another weekend and the lady at the front desk was very rude and quite honestly she was terrible. I will not be staying at a Motel 6 again. She was disrespectful and charged us more for a room she was misleading about and tried telling us it was our problem. And when I told her that we just would not be staying again she proceeded to say “okay that’s fine. Bye.” I find the employees here are consistently disrespectful and she charged us more for a room we didn’t ask for instead of just giving us the room we paid for. -Unhappy Mama
Bad experience
We stay at the motel 6 in Round Rock 1400 N I-35 78681 Found that the motel was in bad shape. We ask if the pool was open. We told that people were using it. When we got there the pool was was real dirty it had mold, the life saver were torn and molded, the pole was broke. The tv didn’t work, the beds were bad. I have picture of the area. This motel is run by pipelines from India.
Filthy room, cockroaches, shower would not drain
I have stayed at Motel 6 multiple times in the last 30 years and it hasn't always been a horrible experience, sometimes not the best but felt we got a bargain hotel at a bargain price. NEVER AGAIN.
Stayed in Motel 6 @7707 Lee Highway in Chattanooga, Tn. from October 1 until October 2. Within the first 30 minutes there, I killed 12 cockroaches in the bed, on the walls, coming from behind the TV and on the vanity area. There were three others that I did not catch as they went under the bed. While trying to kill one under the bed, I used a paper towel and when I brought it out it was covered in black slime. They have never, EVER cleaned under the bed apparently. The towels were stained and the bathtub had cigarette burns on the edge. The tub did not drain while we took showers so we were left standing in 4 inches of water while trying to get clean.
When we checked in they took a $50.00 deposit which they said would be refunded if we did not spray anything in the room while we were there. No explanation of what they thought we would spray. It really would have been an improvement if we HAD sprayed something. The upstairs tenants had kid(s) jumping on the bed, the floor and screaming while running around pounding on things. This went on until after midnight
We would have left but had been driving for many hours and felt unsafe to continue. I am sure the management had to know this because our room was close to the office.
There was no customer service, they were rude and indifferent. We will never go to a Motel 6 again. It is sad that Motel 6 has continued to let their name be used when these motels have been sold to people who don't give a damn about cleanliness, customer service, etc. Forget Tom Bodette leaving the light on for ya', this place is a dump!!!
Shamefull
Motel 6 Rolling Meadows Il. Stay as far away from this place as you can.
My Experience: October 28th. I had tried several times to rent a room on a Saturday without much luck. I was told I could reserve a room in advance so I did. I had an event to attend on Saturday the 30th of October at 6 p.m. so on the 28th I went to the location to reserve the room. The attendant knew me and took my name and said he would reserve the room for Saturday. This was a handicapped room as I have a disability. I offered to pay at that time but he said it wasn't nessecary. I arrived a little before 11 a.m. to pay for the room as 11 is check out time. I was told to come back at 12-12:30 when the room was cleaned. I did but the room wasn't ready. I paid for the room and was given a key card and told to return in an hour. I did. Room not ready. I left and returned again at 3p.m., room still not ready. I sat and waited. While I was waiting, customer after customer with and without reservations got rooms. I waited. I asked the manager when the room would be ready because check-in time (3 p.m.) had passed. She got mad and said she couldn't say. I walked outside and saw the cleaning woman in front of my room with the door open. I thought, great, it would be cleaned soon. The Manger yelled over to her in a different language and the woman left and went to clean a different room. The manager then proceeded to tell a man who "helps out" to remove the refrigerator and microwave from the room I had already paid for and had a key to. As five o'clock approached I informed the Manager I had a function to go to at 6. At 4:40, after sitting and waiting most the afternoon, this woman said she wanted to return my money and I should leave. I told her I would never have time to rent a room in another motel, on a Saturday night and certainly not in time to get to my function. I asked her 1 more time, how much longer? She didn't answer. At a little before 5, I returned the key and I told her I wanted my money back and that she should be ashamed of herself. She then refused to give me money back because I had turned in my key and said I should leave. I told her I wasn't leaving without my money. I told her I would call the police. She then returned my money but said I would be put on a list that would prevent me from renting a room at a Motel 6.
My only reason for renting at this location is the location. I have stayed there many times over the years with out problems. This is a franchise with new management. There is Internet service but it doesn't work. There is no ice because the machine has been broken for months. There are over 300 rooms with only 3 people to clean them. One of the handicap rooms has a cracked window so they can't rent it out. For 3 or more months!!!! Corner showers that are horrible and flood the bathrooms and the rooms below. There is a strong criminal element also. The employees are not at fault. Management is there to maximize profits and that means they do everything on the cheap and the customer is a means to an end. MOTEL 6 'WE'LL LEAVE THE LIGHT ON FOR YOU'. Unfortunately at this location the bulb is broke and they don't care.

I have recieved an email from the Motel 6 in London, ON. The Manager Sikander Khan emailed me saying he would give me 30% off my bill and that he would take care of this himself. Well, I have to call there long distance, which I am not willing to pay for and 30% off is an insult. There was blood splattered on the wall and tub enclosure in the room besides all the other things that were wrong.
I want a full refund and I don't need to call there to do that. He can credit my credit card without talking to me. I am afraid that if I talk to him it wouldn't be a very polite conversation. Please deal with this matter and have him refund me my whole amount for this stay from hell in the hotel in manages for your company.
