Slow service?
I am contemplating on purchasing Viking appliances. 30 inch duel range rvdr33025bsslp, Refrigerator rvrf3361ss, microwave Rvmh330ss, and dishwasher vdw302wsss, but I am leary that they are not well built with problems. Service seems to be slow and not very competent. Please advise and give me some input.
Poor warranty and customer service
We purchased a $17,000 range, double oven and beverage center from Macon Appliance Center in Franklin, NC. Two years later Blossom Gas came out to inspect our appliances and discovered a gas leak coming from the range. A service request was issued and a repair man was sent to our home and ordered a few parts to repair the gas stove. On 10/31 the repairman showed up to replace the parts and we were told that the parts and service were $670.88 due to a 2 year warranty. Needless to say that I am livid as what company has a 2 year warranty for a product that cost this much. I called Viking and they are not willing to compensate us even though we did not take occupancy of our home until 9/21 when the builders finished building our home. And a gas leak tells me that this was a defective part on the range when we purchased it. Even Lowes offers better warranties then this for appliances that cost much less. I will NEVER EVER purchase a Viking appliance again nor will I ever refer them. Beware of this company as they will sell you high end appliances and offer you a warranty that is worth nothing only for them to gauge employees.

Viking fridge
I have had nothing but trouble with the defrost since purchase of the built in fridge. Unable to get a repair call back. would never buy another viking product or recommend viking to anyone.
My Viking refrigerator a LEMON
We purchased a Viking refrigerator & Viking 6 burner glass top stove 10 / 12 / 2010 when remodeling our kitchen. We did not start using them until they finished the remodeling, all most one year later. May 10 / 2013 you paid Seasonal Comfort to replace the lower evaporator (it was leaking). Then March 12 / 2014 ,you paid Seasonal Comfort to replace the upper evaporator (it was leaking) . Now , the lower evaporator you replaced May 10 / 2013 is leaking again! I think the part you put in it was DEFECTIVE part. The evaporator has no moving part to wear out, it has to be a defective part. I feel you should take care of this problem.
I am 75 years old, I have had alot of appliances in my time none with this many problem ever. I have a GE refrigerator side by side has never had evaporator put in it, I have had it for 30 years. I thought this was a top of the line refrigerator. I feel you should take care of the parts & labor.
