Norelco OneBlade Beard/Mustache Trimmer
I received my OneBlade Trimmer for my last birthday in May. I am absolutely delighted with this new (to me) innovation. It makes trimming the edges of my full beard easy and precise. That said, recently it has been more awkward to use. I discovered that one of the tiny rubber/plastic piers (for lack of a better term) which hold the blade to the mount that attaches it to the razor body appears to be broken or not attached. Either way this allows the blade to pivot more than usual on the left side of the razor when seeing it from the underside just above the blade release button. I truly think this matter should be brought to the attention of your R&D or the manufacturing department. I have never dropped or misused this razor and always treat it as a fragile instrument because of the tiny blade head. But, I believe that pivot area could benefit from a critical review because of the delicate construction of it. I use the OneBlade only occasionally when my beard requires routine grooming but even at that the flexing of those tiny pier attachments should withstand the occasional use. For example I use a pillbox several times per day, 7 days a week, for years. The pillbox has a similar flexible hinge on the lid, with the lid still intact despite the excessive opening and closing of it. Also, considering how delicate the cutting head is, perhaps a tray or head shield would insure a longer life of the OneBlade for Norelco as well as for the end user.
