Car rental
I recently made a reservation for a minivan at a local Avis outlet. I was repeatedly told I might not receive the minivan I requested but what “the company” sent and what they sent was a Kia mid-size suv that was smaller than my BMW X5. I needed the 7 passenger and luggage requirements of a minivan so I cancelled the reservation and was stuck without the vehicle I needed. Last fall I waited over an hour at the Atlanta airport to pick up a car and when I commented to the agent about the long wait I was offered an upgrade but not because of my being inconvenienced but because he wanted to increase the cost of the rental. It’s not hard to see why Avis has such a bad reputation and needless to say I see no reason to ever use an Avis car again.

Extension of a rental plus a discrepancy of a rate quote

I rented a vehicle yesterday and I was told if I needed to extend the time frame to call and inform them, I have spent half a day trying to get someone to help me. I have been transferred 10 times without resolution. Secondly, the agreed amount was $34 a day and on my bill is $62.89 which is wrong.
Please resolve this issue regarding this matter because not one department I spoke to could help me. This is not only frustrating but an inconvenience a day before my wedding.
I respectfully request the amount be adjusted per the verbal agreement.

Poor customer service
I recently rented a car from Avis. Got to DFW location at 9:59. Lady said she refused to serve me because they close at 10:00. Never did I read they close at 10:00 for rentals. Very snotty Indian lady. There were 2 of us. Very poor customer service.
Do not rent list
I am trying to find out why I am on the do not rent list. all numbers I have called are recording only including 7576872122, I can rent from other companies if you do not want my business. Avis locally is fantastic.
Dissatisfied customer of 20 years
On august 2 at 830 am went to pick up a prepaid rental of $ 425. At mco airport and was told I was on a dnr list I’ve been a customer for over 25 years and never owed you a penny the total disrespect and disregard from the manager and useless clerks would not help and embarrassed me in front of people when the problem was with your incompetence in your billing department we rented a car in may and it was paid in full and went to rent another one and was turned down I notified my charge card and deputed the charges because you would not give me my money back I will cancel my upcoming reservation with you in November and will make sure everyone I know will never use Avis I’ve given you a lot money over the years and preferred means nothing you should train your billing department better as it was told to me it was your fault but the embarrassment was more than I will accept regretfully Raymond behrman my wizard number is FS 6340 phone number 5707602076
